Jesse Marsch will have the vast majority of his squad available for Leeds United’s penultimate pre-season match against Crystal Palace. The Whites face Patrick Vieira’s side in the final game of their tour of Australia in Perth on Friday morning (11:05am UK time).
Leeds will be hoping to send their supporters Down Under away with smiles on their faces by bouncing back from their narrow defeat to Aston Villa on Sunday. The loss to Steven Gerrard’s side was the first negative result of the summer so far after wins Blackpool and Brisbane Roar opened pre-season.
It is unclear whether Marsch will put out his strongest possible starting XI, especially given there is still the clash against Cagliari to come prior to the season opener against Wolves. Liam Cooper is very unlikely to feature as he continues to recover from the Achilles issue he picked up whilst training on his own before pre-season had even begun.

There are also question marks over the fitness of his junior team mates, Cody Drameh and Archie Gray, who have both been nursing injuries of their own. Drameh has been battling a hamstring strain while Gray is lucky to have not been significantly injured by John McGinn’s brainless late challenge on Sunday.
Marsch is likely to want to see the midfield pairing of Marc Roca and Tyler Adams as they are likely to be in his mind for the first Premier League game of the season. The Leeds boss will also want to see more from Luis Sinisterra as he prepares to adequately replace the departed Raphinha.
Marsch will, however, be keen to see more from some of the fringe players who are still vying to be part of the squad heading into the upcoming campaign. Here is the full squad available to the American on Sunday morning.
