September's full Harvest Moon arrives this weekend and it is not like any other full moon you are expecting. At first glance, it may look like another beautiful full moon. Look again the following night, though. The reason behind its famous name starts to make more sense.
The moon reaches its full phase on Saturday, Sept. 26, at 12:49 p.m. EDT. If you are looking for having the best view then you will have to wait later in the day. You can catch the spectacular view while watching towards the eastern horizon during sunset, Once the evening sky sets in, you can see the large looking moon.
