It’s not every day a 55-year-old UFC Hall of Famer comes out of retirement for one more fight.
That’s what Pat Miletich did on Oct. 14 at Caged Aggression 36 in Davenport, Iowa, as he took on rival Mike Jackson in a politically-charged three-round fight at 175 pounds. The fully-sanctioned professional bout was Miletich’s first MMA contest since December 2008.
Miletich dropped the 38-year-old Jackson early in the fight. He controlled much of the first and second rounds, but ultimately the discrepancy in cardio, endurance, and pacing proved to be the X-factor.
