Fulham vs Chelsea player ratings as Charlie Webster's class earns U18 Premier League Cup glory

Teddy Curd

The 16-year-old might well feel he could have done better when coming to claim the ball in the build up to Fulham's goal, though there was an argument he was fouled in doing so. Curd quickly showed he hadn't lost his confidence to claim a low cross at the feet of Imani Lanqudoc before the opening period was out. The goalkeeper of the tournament when representing England at Val-de-Marne in November, produced a solid second half performance. 6.

Brodi Hughes

A strong outing from the right-back who showed a good work-rate up and down the right flank and looked to feed Jude Soonsup-Bell when he could. A strong outing on both sides of the ball and a disciplined display. 7.

Alfie Glichrist

Showed good last-ditch defending on one of the few occasions Fulham were able to get in behind the Blues' backline to deny Imani Lanqudoc. Was less convincing in a challenge with Matthew Dibley-Dias which allowed a good opportunity for the Cottagers. Denied the Cottagers well throughout the second half with a willingness to put his body on the line. 6.

Luke Bradley-Morgan

Had a couple of errant touches in the opening half, likely due to the wet surface, but otherwise produced a solid outing with a strong second period. Crucial block in stoppage time and stood strong as Fulham threw everything at the Blues.. 6.

Dylan Williams

A constant force down the left flank in attack and defence and brought a standard of consistency to Chelsea's performance. Showed the ability to overlap both inside and outside and an impressive engine to get back in position. Reportedly described as a 'little weasel' on Fulham's commentary, but the January buy showed plenty of quality. 8.

Jimi Tauriainen

A physical presence in the centre of the pitch unafraid to put pressure on his opponents. Perhaps lingered in possession on one or two occasions after showing an impressive ability to hold the ball but operated well at Craven Cottage. Was unfortunate to see his second half free kick saved before hitting the post from 25-yards midway through the second period. 7.

Charlie Webster

The midfielder injects energy into any passage of play he is involved. Proved all his quality in the build up to Chelsea's winning goal with yet another bursting run before finding the perfect pass for Jude Soonsup-Bell. A dynamo. 8.

Harvey Vale

Showed a greater physical presence among his peers and once again proved his versatility as both a winger and in his ability to sit in as wing-back when required. A quieter evening overall for the young star who has been in a number of Chelsea's first team squads this season. 6.

Lewis Hall

The 17-year-old produced an incisive pass to find Leo Castledine for Chelsea's opening goal and showed throughout the 45 minutes why he has been involved in first team football this term. Had the ability to make quick interchanges to progress play from midfield to attack. 7.

Leo Castledine

For anyone who wasn't aware of Castledine before this evening's final, his early goal was certainly a phenomenal introduction. Played through by Hall, he checked onto his right foot to send in a fierce curling effort from 20 yards out. The winger will be disappointed to not have done better when he fired straight at Michael Allen in the 66th minute. 7.

Jude Soonsup-Bell

The young forward struggled to make an inroads against the Fulham backline on occasion but his play dropping deep to link up with the likes of Hall and Vale was very impressive. His footwork was particularly impressive in close quarters as he guarded the ball before looking for the right pass.

Soonsup-Bell, who featured against Brentford in the Carabao Cup earlier this season, showed his finishing touch with 10 minutes to go to restore Chelsea's lead and earn the club another trophy for the cabinet. 7.

Substitutes:

Silko Thomas: Replaced Lewis Hall in the final 10 minutes, and took position on the left flank but had little time to make true impact. 5.

Louis Flower: Not enough time to make an impact after being introduced in stoppage time. 5.
