Fujifilm’s Creator Summit Is Coming To Melbourne & It’s Got Some Big Headliners

Whether you wanna be a content creator, start a business, work in the media industry or are simply curious about the future of storytelling, listen up. After a successful sold-out debut in Sydney last year, Fujifilm Australia is hosting its second annual Creator Summit: Powered by Fujifilm, and this time, it’s headed to Melbourne.

The Creator Summit: Powered by Fujifilm is a one-day festival that celebrates all things digital storytelling. It’s a jam-packed day of talks, workshops, live shoots and hands-on experiences that’ll give you a glimpse of what it’s like to be a creator and/or work in the industry. You’ll be able to step behind the lens and get a glimpse into all of the processes involved in having a successful online presence, and get a chance to learn from the experts.

Headlining the summit are Toni Lodge and Ryan Jon of The Toni and Ryan Podcast fame, kicking off the day with a talk on building genuine communities that show up beyond the algorithm.

Honestly, we could listen to these two yap all day.

Influencer and photographer Jord Hammond will follow suit, delving into how he evolved from influencing to a fully-fledged photography career.

Pinterest ANZ will even take to the stage, with head of content partnerships Jace Molan divulging the 2026 trends shaping not only Pinterest, but the wider content creation community.

There are over 20 talks, workshops, panels and demonstrations across the day, lead by industry experts spanning a wide range of careers. Some of the other key innovators you’ll be able to adopt wisdom of include travel photographer Emilie Hill, award-winning action and motorsport photographer Andrew Hall, founder of creative studio Coeur Visual Laz Smith, and portrait photographer Leslie Liu.

You won’t just be listening to talks all day. Food photographer Vueey Le will be hosting Sip, Shoot, Repeat, a hands-on workshop that’ll teach you how to capture that perfect cocktail shot. If you’re an emerging foodie, this is the workshop for you.

Charlie Blevins, photographer and national training and events specialist at Fujifilm Australia will be demonstrating to photographers how they can get the most out of their gear.

You’ll also have unlimited access to the Creator Summit: Powered by Fujifilm Partner Hub, where leading creative brands, including ALPAKA, BenQ, Adobe, ATOMOS, RØDE, NiSi, Leofoto and Nanlite, will host hands-on demos and workshops.

Be sure to pay a visit to The Fujifilm House of Photography Pop-Up, too, which will offer exclusive event-day deals, complimentary sensor cleans, and the chance to get up close with Fujifilm’s latest X Series, GFX, and FUJINON gear.

The best part of the Creator Summit: Powered by Fujifilm? You’ll be gifted over $250 of sweet gear when you head home. Fujifilm Australia is stringing together some sweet goodie bags to help you on your creator journey. And who doesn’t love a freebie?!

All the fun and games unfolds on Saturday May 9 at the Timber Yard in Port Melbourne. I’m used to heading here for a rave, TBH, but this is a welcome change!

Early bird tickets are currently on sale, and you can nab those on the Fujifilm website.

See you there!
