Drivers across Merseyside have asked "when will it end?" as fuel prices across the region continue to rise.
The ECHO has reported on the rising costs of petrol and diesel over the last few months, with many motorists worried about how they can continue to fill up their tanks.
On Thursday this week, we reported that some forecourts are at just under £2 per litre for diesel and almost £1.80 for unleaded.

One petrol station was branded the "dearest in Knowsley" after seeing prices increase every morning.
Priced at 162.9 for unleaded on Monday, the West Vale Petrol Station in Kirkby also had its diesel priced at 173.9.
Just 24-hours later, the garage then increased its price of diesel from 169.9 to 191.9p - a similar story to petrol which rose to 169.9p.
As of Friday, the prices had dropped slightly to 164.9p and diesel at 175.9p, but motorists say they "can't keep up".
One Kirkby resident told the ECHO: "The prices increased within 24-hours. The fuel in their tanks is the same fuel as was there 24 hours ago so it shouldn’t be increased until the next delivery.
Some motorists have predicted the price of fuel to reach £2 per litre, with some fearing it could "go even further".
A similar story over in Halewood where two petrol stations just miles apart are offering different prices.
The Shell garage in Hunts Cross was seen to have increased every couple of days this week for both petrol and diesel.
As of Friday, the price for unleaded was 159.9p and diesel at 172.9p, an increase from Wednesday, March 9 when diesel was priced at 169.9p.
But just a little further down the road, the Shell garage in Halewood had unleaded priced at 162,9p and diesel at 179.9p.
Motorists say it's like a "game" of trying to find the cheaper forecourt with some ideas floating on social media of setting up a "car pool group" to allow people to share lifts.
One Halewood motorist said he had to fill up his tank to commute to and from work every day, costing him a staggering £70.
He said: "It's ridiculous. But what can you do when you need the fuel to get to work or places you need to get to. It makes you wonder just how high these prices will rise and where will it end?"
Others have said garages in the same area should be priced the same and called for action to prevent people "suffering".
RAC fuel spokesman Simon Williams previously said: "A tank of petrol is now almost £88 while diesel has now gone over £92.
"Diesel unfortunately appears to be on a clear path to £1.70 a litre.
"As this is an average price, drivers will be seeing some unbelievably high prices on forecourts as retailers pass on their increased wholesale costs.
"But there was a hint of better news yesterday on the wholesale market with substantial drops in both petrol and diesel which could lead, in a week or so, to a slight slowing in the daily pump price increases, and records being broken less frequently."
