As the Warriors prepare for Game 3 on Thursday night down 2–0 to the Kings in their first round series, they’ll be playing without star forward Draymond Green.
Green was suspended by the NBA after stomping on Sacramento forward Domantas Sabonis in the fourth quarter of Game 2 after Sabonis grabbed onto Green’s leg when they got tangled up behind a fast break.
Joy Taylor of FS1 wasn’t shy in pegging the blame for the incident on the Kings star.
“I think everybody should take a big, deep breath,” she began. “First of all, Sabonis is wrong. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. You don’t want your stomach stepped on by a giant man in Draymond Green? Don’t pull on his ankle. Actions have consequences. That’s why you got stepped on. I have no sympathy for him. Draymond on the other hand … needs to know the second guy always gets caught, always.”
Taylor went on to say that Draymond was in the right, as he was acting in self-defense.

Regardless of which side of the incident NBA fans fall on, the Warriors have their work cut out for them. Golden State is in unfamiliar territory down 2–0 in the series, and will now need to protect home court beginning on Thursday night in Game 3.
