Fashion lovers across Manchester are embracing their Spring wardrobes as warmer days approach. Puffer jackets and warm sweaters are packed away for another season and walking through Manchester's city centre its clear to people are dressed to impress.
Over the autumn months, trench coats and jumbo blazers dominated the fashion scene, but its now time to shed a few layers.
With shorter sleeves and sunglasses perched on top of many Mancs heads, people are beginning to dress in a fresh Spring style fitting for glorious sunny days - however long it may last.
There is definitely a diverse range of colour being sported around town. While many people are still enjoying neutrals and beiges, others are gravitating towards pastels such as sage green and baby pink, and those who dare to be different are opting for brighter and bolder colours that scream Summer is coming.
Lauren O’Keefe
For 28-year-old Lauren O'Keefe, keeping your style simple is the way to go. Originally from Edinburgh but visiting Manchester for a Spring break, Lauren fancied wearing a burst of colour to match her dazzling blue eyes.
Her Topshop denim jacket is extremely eye-catching, and definitely a must have if you're looking for a way to brighten up your wardrobe this Spring. She popped the jacket over a shirt dress for an effortless look.
“I have no idea where the dress is from as my mum had got it for me. I have blue eyes so I like to match my outfits sometimes with that.
"I really like to wear plain clothes paired with one thing that really stands out and accessories on top like sunglasses, nice shoes and of course my nails done," she said.
Becky Montgomery
Birthday girl Becky Montgomery from Warwick celebrated her 25th birthday in a chic and boho style outfit, which she says she gathered from high street stores.
Long skirts are a huge trend emerging this season and Becky's frilled off-white patterned skirt is a much loved item from her wardrobe.
“I quite like this skirt, it’s absolutely ripped to shreds but I still wear it to death," she said.
Her brown waist coat added a touch of warmth to her white look - a tip she got from scrolling through social media.
"I actually saw a girl on Instagram put a waist coat over with this look - I don’t really know how to describe it but I like it, I enjoy it.
"I’m also wearing little bits of accessories as well - my belt is from H&M, everything I’m wearing is from high street stores such as Urban Outfitters and Topshop," she said.

Amne
24-year-old Amne from Pakistan also embraced neutral colours which she advised are the perfect colours to wear during Spring time.
“I realised at this point in my life that these neutral colours are the best to wear during the Spring months, because I think it really helps to bring out everything else that you’re wearing.
“My jacket is a different green so I thought to pair it with neutrals and beige to make it stand out," she said.
"My sweater I got as a gift, and these pants I randomly found in TK Maxx and I couldn’t believe it, I was so happy to find them. I thought they would look best with my sweater," she said.
Another item Amne was wearing holds much sentimental value for her. The half-heart silver chain was an elegant touch to dress up her everyday look.
"My necklace is a gift from my best friend, she has the other half of the necklace. She lives in Texas so I haven’t seen her in the longest time, so wherever we are we’re always wearing them together."
Evelyn Arrow
One woman certainly shedding layers this Spring is 29-year-old Evelyn Arrow from Stoke-on-Trent. Evelyn says she took off the "big coat" she was wearing earlier due to the warm weather but also to show off her trendy style a bit more.
Evelyn's was absolutely original - pairing the seasonal sage green with black leather to spice up her look.
"I love this Nirvana shirt, I’m a big fan of Nirvana. I wanted to get something in sage green to compliment the colour in the t-shirt, so I found these sort of palazzo pants from a charity shop in the same colour, which was really lucky.
I wanted to grunge up my outfit a bit so I wore a big waist belt with it and my Doc Marten boots," she said.
