Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's extravagant pre-wedding celebrations took place from March 1 to 3 at Jamnagar, India which mesmerised people across the country and is the talk of the town. The lavish pre-wedding festivities were attended by the who's who from the world of business, tech, and Bollywood including Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan and family, Lakshmi Mittal, Anand Mahindra, among others.
While the world is talking about the grand celebrations by Asia's richest person, Mukesh Ambani, and his wife Nita Ambani for their youngest son's pre-wedding, few know that the family is well-connected with some of the top business tycoons in India. From the Mittals to the Mariwalas, the Ambanis are related to some elite business families in the country. Here's how:
Mukesh and Nita Ambani have three children namely: Akash, Isha, and Anant.
Ambanis-Piramals
Their only daughter, Isha Ambani married to Anand Piramal, the son of Ajay and Swati Piramal of the Piramal Group, in 2018. The Piramal Group is a business conglomerate which has interests in pharmaceutical, real estate, financial services, healthcare analytics, and glass packaging.
Ambanis-Mehtas
Akash Ambani, Mukesh and Nita's elder son, is married to Shloka Mehta, whose father Russell Mehta is an Indian businessman. Russell Mehta is Rosy Blue India's Managing Director. Rosy Blue India, a family-run business, has interests in retail, real estate, financial services, media, and diamonds.

Meanwhile, Anant Ambani, Mukesh and Nita's youngest son, is getting married to Radhika Merchant, the daughter of Viren Merchant who is the CEO of Encore Healthcare.

Mukesh Ambani's sister Nina Kothari was married to industrialist Bhadrashyam Kothari, until his untimely death due to cancer in 2015. Nina and Bhadrashyam Kothari have two children together, namely: Arjun Kothari and Nayantara Kothari.

Nina Kothari's son, and Mukesh Ambani's nephew, Arjun Kothari is married to Anandita Mariwala, who is the daughter of Rajendra and Anjali Mariwala-- the owners of Marico Industries. And thus, the Ambanis' are indirectly connected to the Mariwalas.
Ambanis- Bhartias
Also, Mukesh Ambani's niece and Nina Kothari's daughter Nayantara Kothari is married to Shamit Bhartia, who is the son of Shyam and Shobhana Bhartia; he is also the grandson of KK Birla. This makes the Ambanis related to the Bhartias and the Birlas as well.

Meanwhile, Mukesh and Anil Ambani's second sister Dipti Salgaoncar is married to Dattaraj Salgaocar, who is the Managing Director at V. M. Salgaocar & Bro. Pvt. Ltd. They have two children together: Isheta and Vikram.

Mukesh Ambani's niece, Isheta Salgaocar married to Atulya Mittal, who is the founder of Nexzu Mobility. Atulya Mittal is also the nephew of industrialist Lakshmi N Mittal, which makes the Mittals and Ambanis related to each other. On the other hand, not much is known about Vikram Salgaocar's personal life.

And lastly, Mukesh Ambani's younger brother Anil and his wife Tina Ambani have two sons together: Jai Anmol Ambani and Jai Anshul Ambani. Their elder son, Jai Anmol Ambani is married to Khrisha Shah, who's brother Mishal Shah is heading Nikunj Enterprises Ltd after the death of their father. Khrisha's mother Neelam Shah is a fashion designer. Meanwhile, Jai Anshul Ambani is not yet married.
