"One of my uncles used to love Brian Clough, as a player at Middlesborough, as a manager at Derby and of course when he went to Nottingham," Bradfield told NottinghamshireLive.

"I was just about getting old enough to start wanting to support a football team and he convinced me to support Forest. And it was just about the right time - 1978.

"But then I got stuck with Forest for life but I like the fact that there’s a penance for supporting a team that won the European Cup twice when I was young."

The Manics have been delighting festival fans for decades, they have appeared multiple times at Glastonbury.

Stuart Broad

The Nottingham-born cricketer has also been a lifelong Forest fan. He also lives just a few hundred metres from the City Ground. Broad who has played for Nottinghamshire since 2008, has previously shared a photo of him wearing a classic edition of the Forest kit alongside his sister, Gemma.

He previously said on Twitter: "The transformation is incredible. New attacking approach, players look like they’ve actually worked on something in training that they understand and can implement. Looks like they’re a team again rather than a bunch of individuals thrown together."

Joe Dempsie

The Game of Thrones actor born in Liverpool, grew up in West Bridgford. He therefore became a Forest fan from living there and once appeared on Soccer AM wearing the team's shirt.

Dempsie recently said about Forest : "I've made it to a few [games]. I've been to the Liverpool game last week.

"The sense of occasion was just something I had not experienced before at Forest. And the sense of optimism around the place, it's the hope that kills you, isn't it but I think we're a great side."

Ken Clarke

The former British politician is said to be a Forest fan who resides in West Bridgford. He was pictured with Graham Taylor at the game against Sunderland in 1990.

Wood recently saw off Michael Conlan at the Motorpoint Arena earlier this month. Eddie Hearn has since revealed that he will try to make it happen in the summer.

"He's (Wood) going to have the option of fighting in America, but he wants to box at the City Ground," Hearn said. "That's the dream for him and that's what we will try to make happen in the summer. Everything sells out the City Ground at the moment. We will look at the numbers, sit down with Leigh and see what he wants to do.

"They're all big money fights. The experience of the Nottingham Arena was unbelievable for him, but the experience of the City Ground will be legacy. That would be history in the making to do that fight there."

Matt Forde
