NEW DELHI: Sachin Tendulkar praised Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja for their unbeaten 195-run partnership, which saved India on the first day of the Test against Bangladesh at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
The duo helped India end the day at 339/6, with Ashwin at 102 not out and Jadeja at 86 not out. India had struggled to 144/6 after Bangladesh pacer Hasan Mahmud disrupted the top order, removing Rohit Sharma (6), Shubman Gill (0), Virat Kohli (6), and Rishabh Pant (39) in the second session.
