From creator to co-owner: NiceWigg joins 100 Thieves ownership group

100 Thieves has added another familiar face to its ownership circle, unveiling longtime content creator Jack “NiceWigg” Martin as a new co-owner of the organization.

The announcement was made through a skit posted on X (formerly Twitter) on Jan. 5, 2026, marking a huge milestone for one of the brand’s most closely associated personalities.

NiceWigg also shared that he’s now also theHead of Creator Culture and Talent Strategy at 100 Thieves.

The reveal capped off a week of speculation among fans. Just days prior, 100 Thieves and NiceWigg himself confirmed that he was stepping away from his role as a creator, sparking rumors that his time with the organization had come to an end.

Instead, the move turned out to be a promotion rather than a departure, with the 28-year-old Apex Legends personality getting a seat in the organization’s ownership group after four years of working as a content creator.

NiceWigg now joins a star-studded lineup of co-owners led by 100 Thieves founder Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag. The group also includes high-profile streamers Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter and Jack “CouRage” Dunlop, billionaire investor Dan Gilbert, music executive Scooter Braun, and global superstar Drake.

Valkyrae and CouRage were themselves elevated to co-owner status last year, reinforcing 100 Thieves’ long-standing commitment to empowering creators beyond traditional influencer roles.

With NiceWigg moving to its ownership group, 100 Thieves continues to lean into a creator-first business model, one that rewards long-term loyalty, cultural impact, and audience influence with equity and leadership opportunities.

The announcement comes amid a wave of moves for 100 Thieves. Most notably, the org has strengthened its revived CS2 division through its partnership with Roobet, an esports betting platform and crypto casino, adding veteran Håvard “rain” Nygaard as the team’s in-game leader and bringing in Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander as head coach, among other key signings.

NiceWigg is an American Apex Legends streamer, caster, and former professional player who has grown into one of the most influential figures in the Apex community. He first gained widespread attention in 2019 after appearing on the stream of popular creator Dizzy, an opportunity that led to his signing with Counter Logic Gaming. With CLG, NiceWigg made history as the first controller player signed to a professional Apex organization, competing at notable events such as the Apex Legends Preseason Invitational and early Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) tournaments.

After stepping back from full-time competition, NiceWigg reinvented himself as a streamer and broadcast talent. His energetic casting, most notably on the ALGS B streams, earned praise from fans and publisher EA alike, and he has since become a regular presence at major LAN events. He also helped Jacob “HisWattson” McMillan in sponsoring monthly Apex tournaments for women.

NiceWigg joined 100 Thieves as a content creator in 2021, where he quickly built a massive following across Twitch and YouTube while remaining a central voice in the Apex scene. His influence was recognized when he won Best Battle Royale Streamer at The Streamer Awards 2024. Now, as a co-owner of 100 Thieves, NiceWigg’s journey from pro player to creator to executive reflects both his personal growth and the evolving structure of modern esports organizations.
