Users of the 'Just Like Me' platform can engage in video calls with an AI-generated Jesus, priced at $1.99 per minute. This digital deity provides prayers and encouragement in various languages, recalling previous conversations despite occasional glitches and slightly unsynchronised lip movements.
Chris Breed, the company’s CEO, noted the surprising emotional connection users form, stating: "You do feel a little accountable to the AI. They’re your friend. You’ve made an attachment."
