Ball x Pit, the popular roguelike game from Kenny Sun and published Devolver Digital, has reached over one million copies sold.
The teams shared the news in an update, revealing that Ball x Pit has a roadmap planned out for 2026 that will see three major updates for the game, all for free.
First up is the Regal Update in January 2026, with new Hunters hailing from "high society," with the Shadow Update following in April 2026 and bringing Hunters skilled in the "art of deception" for players to use. Finally, the Naturalist Update is slated to arrive in July 2026 and brings Hunters who are born out of "extreme necessity" to the fray.
In addition to new playable characters, all three of these updates are set to bring in new Balls, Buildings, Evolutions, and more.
That aforementioned sales milestone naturally doesn't include the additional players that have jumped in through Xbox Game Pass, as the title launched in the Ultimate and PC tiers of Microsoft's subscription service when it first released back in October.
Ball x Pit is deceptively relaxing and fun

I've been playing Ball x Pit over the past few weeks, and it's a delight. The game is deceptively simple, with stat increases and gradual unlocks building and building until you're watching utter chaos unleashed across the screen.
It's also a fantastic game to play if you simply don't have a lot of time on your hands, as even a successful run across a particular level won't take more than 12-15 minutes. If you haven't played it yet, I highly recommend checking it out.
As Windows Central executive editor Jez Corden previously shared, Ball x Pit is also the perfect handheld game, making it a great choice for something to play if you recently picked up a ROG Xbox Ally X.
Ball x Pit is available on Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC (Steam and Xbox on PC), PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2.
