Based in Hong Kong, Justice Wong is a self-taught game illustrator and concept artist specialising in dynamic characters and evocative scenes. His previous projects include League of Legends, Honor of Kings and Dark Souls.
Below Justice presents four of his favourite examples of his work, including personal pieces. He tends to use Photoshop and Clip Studio Paint (if you need the tools for your own digital art, see our guides to the best digital art software and the best drawing tablets).
Dragon the Man
“Although completed early on, this personal piece represents my deep passion for armour. It remains a symbolic work that perfectly captures the initial formation and core essence of my artistic style.”
Alpha – Sea Gladiator
“These are my favourite ocean-themed illustrations. The dynamic pose emphasises depth and gives the character a high-speed underwater cruising vibe, charging aggressively towards the camera.”
Tigreal – Galactic Marshal
“I love drawing mecha characters. I had great fun creating the composition for this cyber-armoured warrior and adding atmospheric environmental effects. It proved to be a true joy.”
League of Legends: Arcanist 2020: The Unlikely Companions
“This is one of the few fairy-tale themed pieces in my portfolio. I loved collaborating with the art team on this adventurous character illustration. The composition process was incredibly fun and unique.
