Getting 'hilarious' tattoos while on a group holiday is a rite of passage for some, with the ink being a permanent reminder of your week of fun in the sun.
In some cases, holidaymakers may well choose something beautiful or meaningful despite their giddiness, opting for a design they won't completely hate ten years down the line.
However, shows like Tattoo Fixers simply wouldn't exist if nobody ever regretted decisions made in a far-flung tattoo studio with their mates giggling outside.
One group of friends recently decided to get matching tattoos to remember their holiday in Tenerife, inspired by an internet-famous vendor who sells sunglasses and bags to tourists on the Spanish island.

The man in question, who has previously been filmed plying his wares at Fañabé Beach as well as around the Playa de las Americas resort, went viral last year, with tourists posing with him for pics and vids.
He is perhaps best known for his catchphrase "Very good, very nice" and, although his name isn't known, he's amassed a fair following on his official TikTok page where he - unsurprisingly - goes by the username verygoodVerynice.
A recently uploaded video shows how one group of men decided to pay tribute to this meme-worthy vendor, by having the words "very good, very nice" tattooed on their legs.
The matching tats also include a small illustration of a palm tree, and the words 'Tenerife 2022', making sure they never forget their trip.
In the clip, the three men can be seen singing happily with the "very good, very nice" man, apparently very happy with their choice of ink.
However, not everyone was a fan of the ink and some warned they would 'regret' it.
One person sarcastically warned that the body art is "gonna look good in two weeks' time when this trend is dead", while another baffled commenter wrote, "the meme is on the brink of dying and they got a tattoo of it".
Others were more supportive, with a third person quite rightly reasoning that it was "better than getting a ex-girlfriends tattoo", while another urged their mate, "you know what we have to do".
