Friends star Matt LeBlanc, 55, is unrecognisable from his Joey days in rare outing

Matt LeBlanc looked worlds away from his Joey days as he was spotted walking around LA earlier this week.

The Friends star, who is now 55, cut a casual figure in blue jeans and a matching navy T-shirt with the Ford logo on it.

Although fans could just about guess it was him, he made sure to keep a low profile in a baseball cap and dark shades.

Instead of his usual clean-shaven look, Matt rocked greying stubble as he stepped out to do some shopping in Encino on Monday.

The actor has been keeping a low profile since his split from Irish girlfriend Aurora Mulligan.

The couple met when Matt and producer Aurora worked on Top Gear together when he previously hosted the car show.

They were in a relationship for six years from 2016, but their split was made public in February this year.

It is not known why the couple went their separate ways and neither Matt or 37-year-old Aurora have publicly spoken about their break-up.

A source told The Sun at the time that the couple "struck a clean break, but it's still very raw".

Matt – who shot to fame playing ladies’ man Joey Tribbiani on Friends in the Nineties and Noughties – has not been linked with anyone else since.

He reunited with the cast of the hit US sitcom for a one-off special last year which was aired on Sky and NOW TV.

Bombshells which came out included David Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston actually fancied each other in real life – but never got together as they were always in relationships.

Their first kiss was onscreen as Ross and Rachel in the now infamous scene in the coffee shop.

Lisa Kudrow revealed there were “whole seasons” of Friends she had never seen despite being one of the main characters.

Matt revealed he took an original foosball from Joey and Chandler’s famous foosball table as a memento.

After appearing on the reunion show Matt became a meme as social media users pointed out his resemblance these days to pretty much every middle-aged dad we know.

But luckily he saw the funny side – and it’s the truth anyway as he literally is a middle-aged dad to his 18-year-old daughter Marina, who he shares with ex-wife Melissa McKnight.

Fellow actor and friend Stephen Mangan told Ray Darcy on RTÉ that Matt found the memes funny.

He told the show: "Some of the stuff people were coming up with was absolutely priceless. I'm not sure Matt really understands what was happening!

"Obviously, he is Italian, but he saw the funny side of it. He's got a good sense of humour."
