Friends set up Belfast Eats ordering platform to help independent food and drink businesses thrive

A group of friends from Belfast set up an ordering platform to help local food and drink businesses thrive after seeing the impact of the pandemic on the hospitality sector.

Patrick McCafferty and Colin MacDonald started Belfast Eats a year ago as an alternative to bigger third-party ordering platforms such as Just Eat, Deliveroo, and Uber Eats.

As they all had experience of working in the hospitality sector over the years, they wanted to help vendors reach their potential without having to worry about crippling costs.
