Friday's weather in Leeds with 'sharp frost and sun' forecast

It’s going to be another freezing cold day with a sharp frost and ice predicted across Leeds.

The city will only have maximum temperatures of 3C so it's probably best to wrap up warm as the light winds will make it feel a bit colder than it is.

However, there will be sunny spells from 9am through to sunset around 4pm and overall, it will be a dry day.

The weather will be similar across the region according to the Met Office.

A spokesperson for the forecaster said: “A chilly start, with a widespread sharp frost and risk of icy surfaces. Otherwise, largely dry with sunny spells. Feeling rather cold. Chance of some coastal wintry showers. Light winds. Maximum temperature 3 °C.”
