Mum who mooned sports day receives messages from hundreds of men across globe

A mum who accidentally mooned a sports day says she has been inundated with messages from hundreds of men from across the globe after her mortifying face-plant went viral.

Katie Hannaford says she has been recognised while shopping in Tesco and received compliments from admirers from as far away as Australia, Birmingham Live reports.

The single parent, from Basildon in Essex, said: "I've had thousands of messages, at least 500 of them have been from men from Greece to Puerto Rico to Germany and even Australia, saying 'how are you single?' and calling me a 'MILF'.

“It's gone crazy, I didn't expect this in the slightest. I can't put into words how I feel but I've been loving every minute - I've not stopped laughing since.

Son of Celtic-fan mum who died of cancer at Hoops convention in Vegas to bring ashes home

The grieving son of a Celtic fan who died after being rushed to hospital from a Hoops convention in Las Vegas has told how he will fly home with his mum's ashes.

Kevin Martin, 32, was packing his suitcase for a flight to be by mum Ellen Cassidy's hospital bedside when he received a phone call to say the 54-year-old had passed away on Thursday night.

Celtic superfan Ellen had been given a shock cancer diagnosis after falling unwell at the Hoops event in America last week.

She had travelled from Springburn, near Glasgow, for a 10-day holiday with pals to attend the Hoops event.

A Scots woman was left stranded in Turkey after EasyJet cancelled her flight home hours before boarding.

Caroline Daniels, from Newmilns in Ayrshire, was heading to the airport when she received a text message from the airline to say her flight from Bodrum to Edinburgh on Wednesday night was cancelled.

The 53-year-old, who was on a solo holiday, was left to find her own way home after the airline told her the next flight to Scotland on Saturday was full and they couldn't get her on another plane.

NHS worker Caroline told the Record: "I had to call customer services and they said the next flight on Saturday was full and they were unable to get me on another flight.

Scots schoolgirl, 14, left 'shaken' after two men try to entice her into car

The girl is said to be 'shaken' and 'upset' by the unwanted attention but is not believed to have been physically harmed (Streetview)

Police have launched an investigation after two men attempted to entice a 14-year-old girl walking with friends to get into a car.

The incident is believed to have happened between 2.45pm and 3.45pm on Wednesday June 22 at Harvie Avenue in Newton Mearns.

Authorities say the girl had been waiting at a bus stop but started to walk when the bus didn't arrive, when the men who were in a red Vauxhall Meriva appeared.

Driving beside the teen as she walked, one of the passengers tried to persuade her to get in the vehicle while both shouted comments at her.

The schoolgirl reported the incident to police who say she was 'very distressed and upset' by the unwanted attention.

Sir Andy Murray admitted he was left feeling “upset and angry” at the revelations of his mother Judy that she had been sexually assaulted.

The 62-year-old tennis coach had kept the incident secret from her younger son for eight years since it happened at an awards dinner at a leading educational establishment.

But last month she warned Murray, 35, that she was going to write about it in the Scottish Post in response to accusations of misogynist and sexist comments that had been made at a Scottish Football Writers’ Association dinner.

“My brother Jamie was aware of the incident, I wasn't,” Murray told Bloomberg.
