A restaurant owner's wife tracked him down to angrily confront him over his relationship with a staff member who was around half his age.
Melanie Elder, 56, flew into a rage after discovering a love triangle was being played out at the Bridgeview Station Restaurant in Dundee.
Dale Elder, 65, had told his wife he was moving into the restaurant - overlooking the Tay - to ensure it was secure while being refurbished during lockdown.
But she discovered that he had been visiting the home of 36-year-old staff member Jenna Burns to "wash his clothes and have meals."
Elder spotted her love rival with her husband and pursued them in her car to Ms Burns' home where she subjected her to a death threat.

Police have raided the home of Tory peer Michelle Mone as part of a probe into multi-million pound PPE deals relating to a company that she has links to.
An investigation has been launched by the National Crime Agency ( NCA ) into the deals by PPE Medpro - a company set up by a business associate of Baroness Mone.
Her £11m London home, owned by an offshore company linked to her husband’s Isle of Man business, is among a number of properties that NCA officers have raided this week.
It is understood a special unit within the NCA have been looking into the allegations for a year, The Mirror reports.
Body found in search for missing teenager Bryce Grant
A body has been found in the search for a missing teenager who was last seen in a Scots river.
Bryce Grant, known as Forbes, vanished from the Inverugie area of Peterhead sparking a multi-emergency operation in the town.
The 16-year-old was last seen in the River Ugie at around 5pm on Thursday, April 28.
