JUAN LES PINS is fancied to rack up a hat-trick of victories by beating six rivals for the Visit racingtv.com Handicap (3.10) at Nottingham.
The son of Invincible Spirit ended a losing streak stretching back to October 2020 when landing a claimer at Redcar last month, after which he left Ed Walker for Mick Appleby. And the five-year-old got off to the perfect start for his new stable with a two-and-a-half-length margin from Vape at Newbury eight days ago.
The handicapper has stepped in with a 7lb rise in the weights to a new mark of 79, but Juan Les Pins has scored off higher in the past and still has more to offer in Appleby’s care.
