Frida Maanum pens new Arsenal contract following exceptional season for Gunners

Arsenal midfielder Frida Maanum has signed a new contract after a stellar season with the Gunners.

Maanum arrived at Meadow Park from Swedish side Linkopings FC in July 2021 and has since made 78 appearances for the club, scoring 20 goals. The Norway international has enjoyed a brilliant campaign in N5, generating a return of 16 goals and nine assists – a team high for goal involvements in the 2022/23 season.

Maanum has already scooped a number of personal accolades for her impressive form this term, having been nominated for the PFA and Barclays WSL Player of the Season awards and been named Arsenal Women Supporters’ Club's Outstanding Performer for the campaign.
