Nottingham Forest's chase to sign SC Braga goalkeeper Matheus Magalhaes is reportedly not over, according to reports in Portugal.
Forest apparently saw a bid of €4.5million (£4m) plus add-ons turned down by Braga for the Brazilian. The club are in the market to sign a new shot-stopper, amid uncertainty over Dean Henderson's Manchester United future.
Wayne Hennessey is currently the only senior keeper and although Steve Cooper also has Ethan Horvath as an option, his future remains unclear. As reported by Portuguese newspaper O Jogo (via SportWitness), Forest "want Matheus" and could return with an improved offer.

It adds that Forest's initial interest dates back to January when the club looked to appoint a replacement for Dean Henderson. The Manchester United loanee suffered a thigh injury in mid-January and is still recovering from it.
However, the Reds aren't the only team interested. It is claimed that Matheus has also been subject of interest from Saudi Arabia.
Although Braga will seek a "much more generous load" to part ways with the keeper, the offer from the Reds as well as interest elsewhere, "appears to seduce" Matheus.
The 31-year-old joined Braga from Brazilian side America Mineiro in 2014 and has made 293 appearances for Braga. He still has four years left on his contract after agreeing to fresh terms last year.
