Fresh school strikes could be on the cards as teachers in England have voted to reject the government's offer of a 2.8 per cent pay rise.

The National Education Union (NEU) said its members have indicated their willingness to take strike action to secure a “fully funded, significantly higher pay award to address the crisis in school recruitment and retention.”
