Boris Johnson's former spin doctor has claimed that the PM led some of the lockdown parties.
The Prime Minister is bracing himself to receive additional fines from the Met for parties which were against the law at the time. This may include a leaving do for Lee Cain who had been his director of communications in November 2020.
Pippa Crerar at the Mirror reported that the event began with the press office having drinks to round off the week, but turned into a party once Mr Johnson arrived. An official photographer was even believed to have been present throughout and taken pictures of the PM breaking the rules.
