Barcelona have reportedly decided to sell Manchester United-linked Frenkie de Jong this summer.
The Dutch midfielder is said to be a target for incoming Old Trafford boss Erik ten Hag as he faces up to a sizeable summer rebuild at the fallen Premier League giants.
Ten Hag coached the 24-year-old at Ajax before he left for the Nou Camp in 2019.
De Jong's spell in Catalonia has been patchy but Barca sporting director Jordi Cruyff recently stated they club want to keep him.
However, Spanish outlet AS report a change in stance with boss Xavi keen to pursue Valencia midfielder Carlos Soler.
The report states Barcelona want €70million (£58.7m) for De Jong.
That could pave the way for Ten Hag to bring one of his Ajax prodigies to Man United, who are set to lose Paul Pogba when his contract expires at the end of the season.
However, PSG and Bayern Munich have also been credited with an interest in De Jong.
He's made 136 appearances for Barcelona over three seasons, scoring 13 goals.
