Frenkie De Jong and his agent Ali Dursun are yet to discourage Manchester United from making a move as the player insists there is "no news" on his future.
The Dutchman remains a prime target for new Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag. The pair worked together at Ajax, helping the Amsterdam outfit reach the last four of the Champions League back in 2019. Ten Hag now wants De Jong to lead his rebuild at Old Trafford.
His exploits with Ajax earned De Jong a switch to Barcelona, where he has now spent three seasons. The Catalans have endured mixed fortunes during his time there and are struggling financially which as led to rumours of an exit for the midfielder.
