Celtic have reportedly made an offer for Lyon midfielder Mahamadou Diawara as Brendan Rodgers looks to bolster his squad.
The 19-year-old is thought to have fallen out of first-team favour at Lyon, having made 12 appearances across all competitions last season, and coming off the bench against Stade Rennais earlier this term.
As posted on X (via 67 Hail Hail), Paris-based journalist Nabil Djellit said (via translation): "Short of playing time at OL, Mahamadou Diawara has received an offer from Glasgow Celtic, who have qualified for the UEFA Champions League.
"Other clubs are interested in the 19-year-old midfielder, including L1 clubs Nantes, Lens and others.”

Having played for France's Under-19s side, Diawara is a product of the Paris Saint-Germain youth system - following a similar pathway to former Celtic player Odsonne Edouard.
With just one week of the transfer window remaining, Celtic have so far added Viljami Sinisalo, Kasper Schmeichel, Paulo Bernardo and Adam Idah to their squad – the latter two signing permanent five-year deals following successful loan spells last season.
Matt O'Riley, Reo Hatate and Kyogo Furuhashi have all been the subject of transfer speculation away from the club, with Brighton and Hove Albion closing in on the former, and Manchester City reportedly interested in the latter.
