Two important exhibitions highlighting the cultural heritage of Cyprus and its timeless ties with France and Europe have been inaugurated in Paris by the President of Cyprus, Nicos Christodoulides, accompanied by his wife Philippa Carcera, the President of France Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte.
It's the first time the Paris Louvre Museum is hosting 16 Cypriot antiquities donated by the Department of Antiquities of the State Ministry of Culture of Cyprus. Through characteristic objects, the curators hope to give visitors an understanding of the commercial and cultural exchanges that developed in Cyprus during the Chalcolithic and Bronze Age.
