JOYCITY has opened registration for the Closed Beta Test of Freestyle Football 2, the upcoming street football game developed by WOORE. The beta will let players try out the crossplay features while the team gathers feedback to tweak gameplay.
The Closed Beta is scheduled for January 2026 with exact dates still to be confirmed on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. During the test, players can choose from seven characters and participate in 5v5 multiplayer matches using a one player, one character control system. The team shared a developer interview video to give fans a closer look at the game ahead of the beta.
FreeStyle Football 2 is a next-generation 5v5 team football game coming to Xbox Series X|S, with day-one access on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PlayStation 5 in the second quarter of 2026. Built on Unreal Engine 5, the game mixes the fast pace and strategy of real football with the character-driven style that JOYCITY players know.
At launch, 12 playable characters will each bring unique skills that influence how matches unfold, from quick passes and morale boosts to powerful shots at key moments. Players take control of one character per match in 5v5 online battles that focus on teamwork, coordination and tactical decision-making.
FSF2 will offer multiple editions, including Basic, Premium, Deluxe and Limited Club Edition with additional content available through Season Passes, DLC and regular updates.
