Last month, the Department of Education announced that the NI school uniform grant will be increased by 20% to help support low income families.
The grant is designed to assist families in need with a contribution towards the cost of purchasing school uniforms.
The allowance helps towards the cost of specific items of school uniforms and clothing for PE for pupils at primary, post-primary and day pupils at special schools.
Education Minister Michelle McIlveen has also funded free school meals for pupils throughout the summer.
It runs until August 31 and provides financial assistance to families whose children are entitled to a free school meal during term time and eligible at the end of June 2022 - families are receiving £13.50 per week for each entitled child.
