A free naked beach yoga event is taking place on a beach in south Dublin this weekend.
Hosted by The Irish Naturist Association, an organisation that regularly hosts social nudity activities in Ireland, the free naked yoga session takes place on White Rock Beach in Dalkey on Sunday, June 12 at 12pm.
Naked yoga, according to the Naturist Association, is a form of yoga that goes back centuries also known as Classical Hatha Yoga.

This is the third summer of these naked yoga sessions being offered in Dublin after it proving popular among members of The Irish Naturist Association (INA).
INA president and event coordinator Leticia Medina told Dublin Live: "Being naked, open minded, without any judgement and accepting all of ourselves and others is very healing on many different levels. Going back to nature is a human necessity and doing spiritual practices nude allows us to connect differently with Mother Earth and to feel deeper the essence, the energy of life.
"Perhaps the question is not 'why naked' but why not naked', since it is simpler and feels more natural from a mental health perspective. We believe it is only conventional cultural constraints what are in the way of enjoying a deeper connection with ourselves."
She added: "Those obstacles are automatically removed if you are able to find a nudist-friendly environment. White Rock Beach is such a place for its strong nudist tradition and we can vouch for a very respectful and non-judgemental naturist community."
Leticia also explained the importance of body positivity and diversity within such nudist events. She revealed: "We are very proud of preaching body positivity and positive ageing."
The INA welcomes non-members to their outdoor events which are always free of charge.
"For people who prefer the safety of the group in an indoor environment, we organise swimming pool and sauna bookings and some other activities," Leticia explained.
