The Indianapolis Colts are hosting free-agent wide receiver Slade Bolden for a tryout during the team’s three-day voluntary minicamp this week.
Because the Colts hired new head coach Shane Steichen this offseason, they were granted permission to hold a voluntary minicamp ahead of the 2023 NFL draft.
Bolden may not be the only player to be participating in the offseason workouts this week on a tryout basis.
The #Colts are holding a three-day voluntary minicamp under new coach Shane Steichen this week. Among the players participating on a tryout basis: former Alabama WR Slade Bolden, who spent time with the #Ravens last year.

Bolden went undrafted following the 2022 NFL draft and signed with the Baltimore Ravens. He was placed on the injured reserve list during the preseason and was released in October.
At 5-foot-10 and 193 pounds, Bolden ran a 4.66 in the 40-yard dash with a 36-inch vertical. He has yet to appear in an NFL game since entering the league.
