Fred has changed agents amid the possibility of leaving Manchester United this summer.
Fulham are interested in Fred and the 30-year-old has entered the final year of his United contract.
United have already bolstered their midfield with the addition of Mason Mount and have planned for an outgoing in the department.
After the FA Cup final last month, Fred conceded he could have played for United for the last time. "I still don't know, I have to talk with my family.

"I still have one year left on my contract here. Now it's holiday time and a good opportunity to rest. I'll talk to my staff, to the club, and see what everyone's decision is.
"I do have to talk with [Erik] ten Hag as well; he's the manager and the conversation has to involve everyone. We have to see how next season will play out.
"I want to be important; I want to help the team, so we'll see. But I've always been and still am very happy at Manchester United."
Fred is now represented by Brazilian agency Energy Sports, who oversaw Gabriel Jesus's transfer from Manchester City to Arsenal last year. Former Arsenal and Brazil midfielder Gilberto Silva previously represented Fred.
Fulham manager Marco Silva was filmed speaking with Fred outside Old Trafford after United's 2-1 victory in their final Premier League match of last season.
Fulham have signed a number of Portuguese speakers since they were promoted back to the top flight last year and bought Brazilian Andreas Pereira from United last July.
Fred was named in all 62 of United's matchday squads last season and started in 23 games - the fewest since his maiden season with the club in 2018-19.
The Brazil international still lined up in the League Cup final, the FA Cup final, and both Europa League play-off ties against Barcelona as well as the home defeat of Manchester City.
Despite that prominence, Fred was only selected to start in two league games after his starting role in the 7-0 annihilation by Liverpool at Anfield on March 5.
