Fred Done's Salboy to host public consultation on £100m Newquay 'landmark' development plans

A developer is set to host a public event to discuss its £100m plans for a “landmark development” on Newquay’s seafront.

Warrington-based Salboy has early-stage plans for a mixed-use development around the site of the Hotel Bristol in the Narrowcliff area of the Cornish tourism hotspot.

Salboy - which is co-owned by Fred Done, the billionaire founder of betting chain Betfred - currently owns the hotel and two residential properties on the same plot.
