A search operation has been launched to trace a Scots woman who vanished from hospital two days ago.
Kirsty Hill vanished from Irvine on Thursday and was last seen at 10.45am at Woodlands View Hospital.
The 47-year-old is described as white, with long, dark, curly hair.
When she was last seen, she was wearing blue jeans and a blue jumper with white stripes.
Police say that extensive inquiries are underway to trace Kirsty with officers in close contact with her friends and family.
She has family and friends in the Kilmarnock and Hurlford areas.
