Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krosche has offered a major transfer update on Evan Ndicka with Arsenal and Tottenham both linked.
The Gunners are thought to still be keen on signing a left-sided defender despite Gabriel Magalhaes signing a new long-term contract last week. Gabriel and William Saliba have been Mikel Arteta's starting partnership in the heart of the Arsenal defence, with Ben White moving out to right-back.
The north London outfit missed out on signing Lisandro Martinez during the summer transfer window after the Argentine defender opted to sign for Premier League rivals Manchester United instead. Arsenal's rivals Tottenham are also believed to be interested in Ndicka who has impressed since moving to the Bundesliga back in 2018.

The French defender is in the final year of his contract with Frankfurt and talks over a renewal have stalled of late with interest from the Premier League growing. As per Bild, Frankfurt sports director Markus Krosche has offered an update on Ndicka's contract situation admitting an offer from the club is still 'available'.
Krosche said: “There has not yet been a decision as to which direction to go, we didn’t give them an ultimatum either. The offer is still available and we are in exchanges.”
Reports have suggested that the France under-21 defender could be available for as little as £7million in the January transfer window with Frankfurt keen to receive a fee for their star centre-back and avoid him leaving on a free transfer next summer. Arsenal are said to be keen on signing a new left-sided centre-back as Mikel Arteta looks to reinforce his squad ahead of a busy second half of the season.
