Frank Lampard is certainly a curious choice as the potential new Everton manager and offers a very different profile than they’ve had before.

Reports claim that the 43-year-old is being considered by Blues chiefs on their shortlist to replace Rafa Benitez and that he is set to be interviewed for the post.

Given that Lampard is a free agent, there would be no issues in terms of obtaining permission unlike Derby County’s Wayne Rooney.
