Frank Lampard confirms stance on Everton appointing a director of football

Everton Frank Lampard

Frank Lampard believes that having a director of football at Everton could be "very good" if the club are able to find the right fit for the potential role.

The Blues have been without anyone in that position at the club since the departure of Marcel Brands in December 2021, following over three years in the job.

After the Dutchman left Merseyside, Everton confirmed that they would be conducting a "strategic review" regarding the structure of the club in the future, including the director of football role.
