The UK Foreign Office has issued a warning for people travelling to France.
The Government department changed its guidance for anyone planning to visit the European nation on Wednesday, March 29. It comes amid heightened tensions and "violent" protests.
Earlier this month, there were two nights of thousands-strong protests across Paris. Police dispersed crowds with tear gas and water cannons and there were hundreds of arrests.

The demonstrations come as President Emmanuel Macron used special constitutional powers to force through an unpopular bill raising the retirement age from 62 to 64.
Protests are due to continue across France in the coming weeks. The UK Foreign Office has said: "Protests are likely to take place and could occur with little notice. Some protests have turned violent. The protests may lead to disruptions to road travel.
"There is also ongoing strike action affecting multiple sectors including transport networks. Coordinated strike action and large-scale demonstrations are next planned for Thursday 6 April. Industrial action may start the evening before the strike day and run for several days.
"You should monitor the media, check the latest advice with operators before travelling, avoid demonstrations and follow the advice of local authorities."
