White walls are a tricky choice. Though the look provides a blank canvas for a variety of furniture and design schemes, if not done correctly, it can look cold or boring. This is markedly not the case in Fran Drescher's home.
The Nanny actress shared a video walking through her living room, and it's the perfect example of how to do a white color scheme right. Her color-drenched white walls, white floors, and white ceilings are perfectly smooth and shiny serving as the backdrop to her formidable collection of mid-century modern and contemporary furniture. A large, modern painting and cream wool rug add texture, while the smoothness of the surfaces helps fill the room with light.
