The FPL General is back with another round of FPL tips, as they select the teams with the best run of fixtures and top assets from each of these clubs.
Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers will be looking to capitalise on a busy festive period, with teams playing an increased amount of matches in just a matter of weeks.
Selecting players is vital at this time of year and is heavily dependent on the run of fixtures for each team, so below are the teams with the best run of fixtures and FPL tips over who you should select.
FPL Tips: 5 Teams With the Best Fixtures (Next 5 GWs) + Their Top 3 Assets
Arsenal
- Bukayo Saka
- Gabriel
- Jurrien Timber
The Gunners have been on a tear in recent weeks, with their most notable victory coming against Manchester United and their next five fixtures are extremely favourable.
Mikel Arteta’s side face: Fulham (A), Everton (H), Crystal Palace (A), Ipswich (H) and Brentford (A) – meaning the Gunners play three sides that are battling relegation.
A standout option is obviously Bukayo Saka, who has contributed to 15 goals in the opening 14 GWs (5G+10A) with the Englishman accumulating 101 points so far – only bettered by Mohamed Salah (151) and Cole Palmer (107).
Defensive options are also rife for Arsenal, with Gabriel and Jurrien Timber being extremely tempting provided the Brazilian is fit.
Gabriel has been a constant threat from corners and Arsenal have scored the most set pieces this season with seven – as Timber scored one of his own against United.
Bournemouth
- Antonie Semenyo
- Evanilson
- Justin Kluivert
The Cherries face Ipswich (A), West Ham (H), Manchester United (A), Crystal Palace (H) and Fulham (A) which is a favourable run into the New Year for Andoni Iraola.
Antonie Semenyo has been a pivotal member for Bournemouth this season, contributing to five goals so far (4G+1A) but has failed to score in his last three league appearances.
Another strong option is Brazilian striker, Evanilson, who has gained the most points out of the whole Bournemouth squad with 61.
Evanilson contributed with three assists in Bournemouth’s 4-2 win over Wolves, winning three penalties that were converted by the next player on this list – Justin Kluivert.
The Dutchman became the first player in Premier League history to score a hat-trick of penalties and is just behind Evanilson with 60 FPL points.
Brighton
- Joao Pedro
- Kaoru Mitoma
- Pervis Estupinan
The Seagulls put in a disappointing display in GW14, losing 3-1 to Fulham at Craven Cottage but their upcoming fixtures could bring a string of good results in the Premier League.
Brighton face: Leicester (A), Crystal Palace (H), West Ham (A), Brentford (H) and Aston Villa (A) with the final game of the year looking like the hardest match-up at Villa Park.
Joao Pedro is the obvious option for Brighton, as the Brazilian has contributed to seven goals in just eight appearances this season (4G+3A).
Appearing in the first three matches of Brighton’s campaign, Pedro accumulated 18 points before missing seven of the next eight matches.
Since returning, the 23-year-old has gained 30 points in four appearances and only Danny Welbeck (68) Kaoru Mitoma (59) have managed more throughout the season.
Speaking of Mitoma, the Japanese international is another good option for your FPL squad after contributing to 21 points in his last three appearances.
Finally we have a defensive option in Pervis Estupinan, who has worked his way back into the team after recovering from injury and is showing signs of the form that gained him 128 points in the 2022/23 campaign.
Manchester City
- Josko Gvardiol
- Erling Haaland
- Kevin De Bruyne
Manchester City have been a nightmare for FPL players in recent weeks, as their players tend to cost a pretty penny and the Cityzens lost four consecutive matches in the league.
However, Pep Guardiola’s side ended their run of poor form with a 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest and Kevin De Bruyne registered two goal contributions in his first start since September (1G+1A).
City have some favourable encounters coming up as they face: Crystal Palace (A), Manchester United (H), Aston Villa (A), Everton (H) and Leicester (A).
Josko Gvardiol could be a shrewd option as Manchester City are struggling with injuries in defence and makes the Croatian a certainty to start.
The 22-year-old has scored three goals this season which is a superb output given his position and has gained the second-highest amount of FPL points for City with 56.
Who has the most FPL points for Manchester City? Well that is probably quite obvious as despite failing to score in three consecutive league matches Erling Haaland has gained 91 points.
The Norwegian will fancy his chances against the defence of Crystal Palace, Everton and Leicester with the three relegation-threatened side conceding 18, 21 and 28 league goals respectively.
Liverpool
- Mohamed Salah
- Trent Alexander-Arnold
- Virgil van Dijk
Finally we have table-topping Liverpool who are on a tremendous run of form that makes almost every fixture a favourable one.
The Reds face: Everton (A), Fulham (H), Tottenham (A), Leicester (H) and West Ham (A) before the start of 2025 and will be looking to get maximum points and maintain their lead at the top.
Mohamed Salah is the star for Arne Slot’s side, contributing to 21 goals in 13 appearances this season (13G+8A) and boasting the highest FPL points tally this season.
The Egyptian has scored in seven consecutive league matches and is on track to break Jamie Vardy’s record of 11 matches in a row.
As well as scoring a lot of goals, Liverpool’s ability to not concede has also played a huge part and a lot of that credit goes to Virgil van Dijk.
The Dutch international has been at his sparking best this season, keeping seven clean sheets in the league and accumulating 64 points so far.
Just behind that tally is Trent Alexander-Arnold with 61, as the Englishman has returned from injury and will be looking to add to his three assists already this season.
