Fox News stars who previously defended Kanye West - branding his social media ban "wrong" - have backtracked on their opinion.
Fox and Friends co-hosts Will Cain and Pete Hegseth have suddenly changed their mind about the controversial rapper after his 'Anti-Jewish' posts.
The presenters, and co-host Rachel Campos-Duffy, previously slammed Meta for restricting Ye's accounts on Facebook and Instagram.
West, 45, has caused a stir online in recent days after wearing a White Lives Matter shirt at his latest Yeezy fashion show.
He has since called the Black Lives Matter movement a "scam" and hit out at critics including Gigi Hadid and Vogue editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson.
He had his Instagram account suspended after a now-deleted post which involved anti-Semitic tropes, accusing Sean "Diddy" Combs of being controlled by "the Jewish people".
Cain, Hegseth and Campos-Duffy spent hours on their show on Sunday blasting the decision to ban Kanye off social media, calling it "anti-American" and "wrong".
Rachel said: "We’re in this weird era where people can’t just say what they want to say. This idea you have to just shut down his account is just, it’s totally totalitarian, totally anti-American."
She added: "It’s just wrong."
But now, in an awkward U-turn after realising West was taking swipe at Jewish people, the presenters have seemingly changed their mind.
Hours after blasting Meta, live on air, Hegseth said: "We talked about it earlier without knowing about these tweets.
"Saying, 'of course, they’re going to put a target, after what he said with Tucker there’s going to be a target, no doubt.' But in this particular case, he brought the target."
Cain then admitted West's Twitter outburst was "pretty ugly" and "condemnable", while Hegseth also added that the entire ordeal was "ugly".
Campos-Duffy didn't comment further, but did ask "the question is should he be removed from Instagram and who gets to decide that?"
Twitter has now locked West's account after he made anti-Semitic tweets, the first post in two years after being locked out of his Instagram account.
He posted a blurry photo standing alongside Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, writing: "Look at this Mark. How you gone kick me off Instagram."
He later tweeted: "I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE.
"The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew also You guys have toyed with me and tried to blackball anyone whoever opposes your agenda."
The post has since been removed and replaced by a message from Twitter which reads: "This Tweet violated the Twitter Rules."
"The account in question has been locked due to a violation of Twitter’s policies," a spokesperson for the platform told BuzzFeed News.
Social media giant Meta, which owns Instagram, confirmed to The Mirror they had "deleted content" from Kanye for "violating policies", also placing a restriction on his account.
The Mirror reached out to Twitter representatives for comment.
