Brock Purdy, the man selected with the absolute final pick of the 2022 NFL Draft, is making his first NFL start today with the 49ers and you know what? He’s doing pretty darn well.
Purdy has San Francisco leading Tom Brady and the Bucs 28-0 as of this writing and the former Iowa State QB has ran for a TD and thrown two TD passes. That’s not bad for your NFL debut. It’s even better when you realize he’s going against the GOAT.
Purdy’s family is at the game and his dad had a special moment after his son’s 27-yard TD pass to Christian McCaffrey in the second quarter. Check this out:
