A fourth Elliott Hardie Homes company has entered into external administration.
Canberra-based building company Elliott Hardie Homes Pty Ltd entered administration on Wednesday, July 22, Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) documents show.
It was the fourth company in the group to go into administration, after three others collapsed in late 2025, owing about $4 million to subcontractors, employees, home owners and the Australian Taxation Office.
Those companies were ACN 613 774 842 Pty Ltd, which was formerly known as Elliott Hardie Homes (AUS), ACN 600 645 734 Pty Ltd, which was formally known as Elliott Hardie Homes (ACT) and Standard Constructions Pty Ltd.
Timothy Elliott, the director and secretary of the latest company to go under, was also the director and secretary of ACN 613 774 842 Pty Ltd, which was deregistered on Friday, July 31.
Mr Elliott was also the director and secretary of a company called Hardie Elliott Pty Ltd, which was deregistered in June this year.
In May, The Canberra Times reported employees of Elliott Hardie Homes had been made redundant in December last year, and were unable to access their unpaid leave entitlements or superannuation.
A former employee, who spoke to The Canberra Times on the condition of anonymity, said he was owed about $10,000.
"Literally two weeks before Christmas, all of our leave was gone, all of our holidays, all of our RDOs gone," the former employee said.
Ezio Senatore has been appointed as administrator. The number of creditors and the amount of debt owed by Elliott Hardie Homes Pty Ltd is yet to be confirmed.
Elliott Hardie Homes and Mr Elliott were contacted for comment.
