POLICE are appealing for information after a crash on the A935 left four people in hospital, with two men in critical condition.
Around 5.25pm on Friday, a Volkswagen Polo was involved in a collision with an Audi A6 on the Montrose to Brechin Road, near to Bridge of Dun.
The 56-year-old male driver of the Audi was taken by air ambulance to Ninewells Hospital where staff describe his condition as critical.
A 14-year-old girl, who was a passenger in the Audi was taken to Ninewells Hospital to be checked over.
The 19-year-old driver of the Volkswagen Polo and his 20-year-old male passenger were both taken to Ninewells Hospital. Staff describe the condition of the 19-year-old man as critical and the 20-year-old as stable.
Sergeant Iain McNamara said: "Our enquiries are continuing into the crash and I would appeal to anyone who witnessed it take place or who was in the area at the time to contact us with any information.
"Any drivers with dash-cam footage are asked to check it as it could have captured images which could assist our enquiries."
