Detective Constable Wellings, of Ellesmere Port Proactive CID, said: “Todays [Wednesday] warrants are the culmination of an ongoing investigation into the supply of crack cocaine in the Ellesmere Port area. In addition to the arrests, we have also been able to remove a large quantity of crack cocaine which was destined for the streets of our town.
“We know that these drugs have a hugely detrimental impact on communities, causing widespread misery, which is why we are committing to doing all we can to cut off supplies of illegal drugs and removing dealers from our communities. However, there is only so much we can do ourselves. We need the public to be our eyes and ears and to come forward with information regarding drug dealing in the areas they live in.
“If you have any information about illegal drug activity or any other criminal activity taking place, please report it to us on 101, or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, and we will do the rest.”
