Four out of five fathers are adamant that they want to embarrass their kids with terrible, cringe-worth dad jokes - a new study has found. The cheesiest but favourite gage has also been revealed to be: "This graveyard looks crowded – people must be dying to get in," followed by: "I’m reading a book about anti-gravity. It’s impossible to put down."
Another timeless classic which is guaranteed to roll a couple of eyes is: "I used to hate facial hair, but then it grew on me," while: "What do you call a magician who has lost their magic? Ian," also featured among the top ten dad jokes ever told.
The study also found that while two-thirds (67 per cent) of participants said dad jokes make them cringe, six in ten admit to adoring them. The research, consisting of 2,000 adults, was compiled by Papa John's ahead of Father's Day - so the pizza chain could launch its Papa Jokes campaign.
