Three North East locations have been named in the top ten locations rail travellers would like to visit.
Newcastle, Alnmouth, Durham and Berwick upon Tweed have made it into the illustrious of destinations families would most like to visit along rail operator LNER's 900-mile network.
Although, London came in at number one, delightful North East village Alnmouth ranked fifth, while the cultural cities of Newcastle and Durham came seventh and eighth, respectively.
